According to the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office, the fatal crash occurred at approximately 8:33 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, near the intersection of Route 322 (Division Highway) and Springville Road, a short distance east of New Holland Borough.
Investigators with the East Earl Township Police Department reported that Randal was traveling north on Sheep Hill Road while riding an electric unicycle. Preliminary findings indicate that he lost control of the device and slid into the intersection, where he was struck by an eastbound tractor-trailer.
Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene and provided assistance. Sadly, Randal was pronounced dead as a result of the injuries he sustained. The Lancaster County Coroner’s Office determined that he died from multiple blunt force injuries and ruled the manner of death an accident.
